Our School
St. James Catholic School was established in 1965. The environment that we provide our students is a safe and welcoming one. We are able to instill faith based learning so our students excel in all aspects of their education. Our small class sizes allow students to have personalized learning while increasing their social and emotional learning.
Principal’s Welcome
Welcome! My name is Alicia Vazquez M.E and I have been here at St. James the Greater Catholic school for 19 years. I taught second grade for 10 years and have been principal for 9 years! My priority for our school is always to put students first. Our school is based on the foundations of education, faith, community and morals. We strive to do the best we can for each student and to create an environment that your child can can safely grow up in. Our team of educators work well with parents to create a strong support system for each student and of course myself to help with anything that you need. I hope that you find what you are looking for at our school.

Mission
Our mission at St. James is to teach children to know love and serve God through worship, study, and service to others. Our values align with the vision of what our parents want for their children. We take great pride in the education that we are able to provide in our school along with the freedom to pray and learn about Christ. Serving the community is also something that our students learn at a every age. Our mission is said at the beginning of each day as a reminder to students and staff what our goal is, and how we are all apart of Gods plan and the ways we follow through with it in our every day lives. ​
